Born and raised in Mexico City, Beatrice Valenzuela moved to Los Angeles eight years ago and has been working as a hair stylist and designer every since. Her eponymous line of shoes for men, women and children takes its inspiration from ancient footwear and the traditional styles of her native country of Mexico. Beatrice lives her life as art, infusing beauty and care into everything she does from cooking to styling to designing her popular line of shoes.

Available for purchase in multiple stores around the country, including Creatures of Comfort (Los Angeles/New York), Vivier and Bentley (Los Angeles) and The General Store (San Francisco) Beatrice Valenzuela has expanded its presence internationally and is now available in Japan. While Beatrice resides in Echo Park with her partner and daughter, each pair of shoes is handmade by artisans in Mexico City.
